I Am Sure I Am Awake When I Saw This New Game By Hoyoverse
With a lot of universes, the multiverse, the metaverse, and the kingdom come of Hoyoverse, the creator of Genshin Impact has now a new “snoring” game called, Zenless Zone Zero. Got it? This is a new electrifying Action RPG that will put your guts out.
Welcome to New Eridu.
If you are mesmerized with Lisa in Genshin Impact, the Waifus of Zenless Zone Zero will make you “gaga”. This is New Eridu, the setting for the upcoming game of Hoyoverse, Zenless Zone Zero. Set in a futuristic cyberpunk environment that was caused by a supernatural disaster called Hollows.
As you can see in the trailer the amazing artwork and play style of the game. It seems there is a small cutscene in executing a skill not too far behind from the cutscenes of Genshin Impact. The game mechanics is the one that I am looking forward to here, if it's free-to-play friendly or not. You can already tell from the trailer that you can be a sword wielder for close combat or a gun user for missiled attacks.
With the trailer we can only say about the graphics which are very very good. The detail of the gun and the sword are remarkable. This is the graphics that I am looking for: the bolts, the screws, the imperfection of the swords, scratches and the costumes. This is potentially an amazing game, but I really want to see the character progression and how the weapons are categorized.
Details are yet to be revealed on the character build or anything but the Waifus are strong in this one. Looking at the trailer this is more attractive to teens and adults just looking at the characters. Of course, the cliche of any Japanese Action RPG, there is this cute bunny like pet. It is like a digital Sayu of Genshin Impact. Like as always there is this mascot somewhere in the game.
My reaction to this is a little bit worried and a little bit skeptical. I am a fan of anime but I usually worry at first because this game should earn and it could be another wallet ripping game. Genshin Impact is a balanced game but with this having the same umbrella with Genshin it will always be a sibling comparison. I just hope that the character build will not be as hard, but rather competitive. I don’t know the story, but the premise seems ok. I should not be worried about the very engaging storyline of Genshin. A lot of people will be able to connect here as it is set in a familiar place like street markets, railroads, side streets and probably tunnels. I command Hoyoverse in the effort to have these elements come together in a game. Fantasy worlds are good but I think players would have a connection if this are played in a common ground.
The release date is yet to be announced but it will be initially released in PC and iOS. My initial impression of Genshin is here.
