Our Review Criteria

All of the reviews are not influenced or based on the app score in Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We have review criteria that will also help the players to choose. Though players can install a free to play game anyways anytime but we value the time we spend on games. Our reviews are strictly based on the following criterias.

Playability

General game mechanics are easily understood. Controls in general can be easily adapted by the player. If you can skip the tutorial the better.

Concept

There is no game that is absolutely original. It will all lie on the execution of the concept blending in with the story of the game.

Design

We are reviewing games on all platforms. Mobile games seem all alike the same as with PC games that have a simpler opening screen. The criteria is being reviewed on how the concept and interface blend in to come up with the general feel of the game.

Frequency

This is basically how long you will play the game. PC games could have endings but can you really go up to the end? Frequency is very much relevant to mobile games as mobile games have no “ending”, the question is how long can you last?

Free-To-Play Friendliness

Most of the games that will be reviewed will be on the mobile platform and most of them are “free-to-play” however, some of them are pay-to-win or at some point in the game you will be forced to buy in-app items. This kills, most of the time, the enthusiasm of the player that suddenly the characters are no longer upgradable at some point due to premium item requirements.

The review is being rated with stars and here’s what they mean.

5 Star - I can play the game over and over again.

4 Star - I can play it that much. Missing a few points from the criteria

3 Star - The game is a bit of a drag.

2 Star - I can’t stand the game design.

1 Star - We don’t play it here. But of course we played it at some point but we lost before it even started.

The star ratings are not influenced by their rate on the app store or rating to any of the prominent reviewers. The reviews are entirely based on the prerogative of the writer that actually played the game.
