City Building Cravings Again? To Why I Keep Coming Back To That Corner

I have a confession to make.

I have insurmountable cravings about City Building. That is why I end up with Sandship or Steam City (that I was not able to review). The thing with City Building games that I truly enjoy is how you manage the city structures, similar to Sandship however, In City Building is that you’re limited to an area unlike with Sandship where you can buy more factories for the different materials you need for your quests and for upgrades.

One of which is Dream Town City, it is nothing that I imagined that my two favorite concepts in gaming are all in one game. I am a big fan of pixelized games, retro and of course City Building.

Not sure about the psychology behind why I enjoy City Building games but there is something about it that I truly savor. I really love the way that I put the buildings in my city piece by piece just like a puzzle. The different sizes of buildings and the fund management really takes the cake on how you will beat the game. In Dream Town City the best part of it is you get to know or you can change the name of your citizen. You can name every person in your town. Also you can decide if you would accept the person or not. However Dream Town City has premium content right on the edge of the city when you expand. For a quality amount of time I enjoyed the game I just have to let it go at that limit, expanding further.

I am playing a new City Building right now, so far I think there is no premium limit on expansion. Let's see if that is true in the coming days. I ignored Genshin Impact in this game. Now,I think  I just got fed up with the ads but it is fine at the very least they give you something extra if you watch ads. It is only the ads part that is annoying but the game is very engaging that I even ignored Genshin Impact because of this game. Even though I got the signatured weapon of my Arlecchino, I still need to review her skill dynamics and the proper artifacts. Of course this is not a Genshin post, so I will reveal in the coming days what the game is.

It is nothing like Dream Town City, but my goal is to reach at least the edge of the map. There is a blue space surrounding the area that you can buy and I want to go to that edge, and see what lies behind.

At the first try of this game I was really excited and really hooked that I open it every hour and watch ads so I can double the earnings I gained while I am offline. Now the interval is a bit long, at the very least 6 hours is pretty healthy. And I think because of the ads.

The initial area is still not covered,  there is still empty land to fill in. Once I place my structures and fill the map I will slowly move and expand on the next area until I reach that blue space around let’s see if it will unlock once I reach the edge.

My worry is that it only has a limited number of buildings as of the moment. The unique part of this game is that you can’t put residential areas into industrial or farm areas, people will complain about the pollution so you need to put commercial buildings in between so they can breathe fresh air.

I am still playing the game, and a review will come out one of these days. This discovery about myself indulging in City Building games is really something to celebrate. It is never too late to discover something about yourself in this time and age that people tend to compare themselves to other people and yet here I am discovering something about myself on my own.
