Genshin Impact Teaser: The Making Of Scaramouche

I was never invested in the lore of the game before. Besides Diablo and Marvel Future Fight, I am already invested in reading comics, and with Diablo its lore is very much engaging, before Diablo Immortal. I have never been invested in the lore of a game before. For the person responsible for the storyline of Genshin Impact you are marvelous. You are like George R. R. Martin of the gaming world. Though you don’t let the characters die yet, even Xiao survived the Chasm, the twist and backstories of the characters you made, it is something that all players would die to know what is the next episode of it.

If you already reach Inazuma in the Archon Quest there you will definitely meet Scaramouche. It was also revealed in the game in the Story Quest of Raiden that Ei’s first puppet was Scaramouche.

Ok Scaramouche, you have my attention now.

Besides being a douche, (Scaramouche and douche rhymes by the way) the new content in the Genshin Impact Youtube channel, is about our favorite douchebag Scaramouche. It is revealed there why he became what he is now.

With the rumors that we will have a Scaramouche weekly boss, now the interests about Scaramouche heightened. I thought at first the video was about Layla because “she” is like a shrine maiden, however eventually it was revealed that it was Scaramouche. This might be the first playable villain in the game. Though Tartaglia is somewhat villainous as well, he is more of a smooth negotiator, no offense to all Thoma fans out there hear me out. What I mean by a smooth negotiator, he will not engage into a fight, rather he can meet in the middle to get what he wants. Though the Geo Gnosis was not a non-negotiable event, before he technically helped the Traveler to get out of the Mililith, during the investigation of Rex Lapis’ fake death. In that case, he can help you and stab you in the back if the Fatui would want to. If you are playing Dungeons and Dragons before there is a statistic that is called, alignment, that has 9 characteristics, I can consider him as Chaotic Neutral, his good intentions comes with a price really. Childe is a type of a villain that would make his enemies closer and strategize to help his enemies to accomplish his goals, he does not want to eradicate mankind he loves it but if they will get in the way, that would be a different story. Scaramouche is down right evil.

In the newest content in Genshin Impact’s Youtube channel, it will show you why Scaramouche has become the douchebag he is right now. Scaramouche’s tactics involve  hurting people. It is at par, more dangerous than Tartaglia. You can not sleep over the night with him, Tartaglia can buy midnight snacks and wake up the other day with breakfast made by him.

With all of these, Scaramouche is right on-point with his evil schemes. If ever the weekly boss is true which I hope that it is not, I will no longer bother the wolf spirit in Wolvendom, even how hard Scaramouche will be, he will be my main factor if I would consider my team strong, he will be next to Azhdaha of course, that dragon is literally a rock.
