A New Character Or A New Weapon? What To Wish For In Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is a Gacha game, unlike the system of Marvel Future Fight, you don’t get the characters on a Gacha System you will get your character for free however the materials are not. You will get to invest your time farming for materials to be able to level them up. In Genshin Impact however, you can only get many powerful characters and weapons via the Gacha System. Plus the system that you get the other materials for your characters to Ascend is from a boss, it is twice the effort than Marvel Future Fight. As a free to play player, well you miss a lot of character banners because you skip the event or you are not trying hard enough to complete the quests so what will be our strategy to a very losing situation?

The house always wins like they say. You will be forced to do your dailies and weeklies and you will be forced to participate in the event. Which is not that bad to be honest, because they also put some lore to it. I really regret that I didn't participate early on in the game.

With the limited supply of Primogems, the main currency of the Gacha System, you find ways to reserve it for a better banner.

Hoyoverse will eventually introduce more and more characters to the game. Maybe we get to pull for the whole Harbinger army for all I care. The thing is, how would you conserve your Primogems. In the Gacha System you really can’t because it is pure RNG. Even how high or a guaranteed 5-star whichever banner you choose, the result will be always dependent on the RNG. How do we win this system?

In a way, the game is very generous. Your team is also a puzzle. Your main characters right now might eventually lose their spark. The game is evolving, it will not be enhanced for an easier boss, it will always be enhanced to be a much harder boss. 

So how come that the game is generous?

The characters, if they put a harder boss, they will put a better character whether it is a 5-star or not. There are benefits of a 5-star character however, you really can’t beat the house. The house is always lost because no matter what happens you should kill the boss, but on their Gacha System no you can’t beat them.

I am beating them by strategically pulling on the right moment and on the right banner. I can always work on my Yan Fei and my Raiden, with my Dendro Traveler, Barbara will be a monster. Of all of the characters that I mentioned, Raiden is the only 5-star that I pulled from a banner. Traveler is not always the reliable character if you consider him a 5-star, but the thing is Yan Fei and Barbara were both 4-star characters and I still can work with them.

Now that I have Candace on my roster, for just pulling 1 10 pull on Venti’s banner, I am all good with the new character. I pulled for Candace because I need a Hydro character and a fighting one. I will pair her up on my next team with Diluc. Many players annoy the millionaire wine owner since he is a bit out of his league and Yan Fei would be a better choice or Xiangling. I will get to that once I max out Raiden and Yan Fei. With Candace out of the way I will pull now for a Weapon. I am not looking for anything, I just want a 5-star weapon because I have none. Now the banner promotes the egyptian paddle and a pale flame bow. I am creating this post without the game on my face so I will give the true name to you guys. Whatever I am pulling, it is very well appreciated. The thing is when?

Since I will be pulling for a weapon, I will wait an hour before the whole update will end. I am not doing any story quest now, so all of my primogems are from the event which I truly enjoy except for the boar part. The mechanics are good, I just hate the boars. The very existent of the boars just hate it, I died countless times so the experience is not very good.

A day before 3.2 drops, I will make a wish on the weapon banner, I will continue to pull until I get a good weapon. The weapon can be swapped but the character, you really can not use all of them.
