Dendro Should Have Reacted To Geo As Well - Here's Why

At the start of 3.0 Release of Genshin Impact, the Dendro element finally unfolds, however the reactions for Dendro element seem to come out short. The only reactions currently that we have for Dendro are for Pyro, Electro and Hydro. Though the Hydro and Pyro makes sense, an uncommon elemental reaction was provided to Electro. Whatever the developers' reason for this, we will just know once we complete all of the continents of Teyvat however there could be a development around the Geo element.

Dendro is a plant element and it is very flexible that would go hand in hand with other elements. Sure that we see it with Hydro, mixing it with Dendro it will bloom however there is also hyper bloom and “quicken” when mixed with Electro.

Which it doesn’t make sense if you ask me.

For Pyro it does make sense since if a Plant mixed with Fire, it will burn. Though there are other reactions that either escalate the damage. Sometimes you really can’t see between battles if the number that you are seeing is for the Burning or Quicken.

Technically the only that has a questionable reaction is Electro. If we trigger quicken, will it speed up the enemies? Which is not advantageous so it doesn’t make sense. What will make sense is if it will be Geo. Though Geo can be attributed to rocks or crystals it also signifies the earth beneath us. Technically there are trees that grow on rocks. It will make more sense if they have given a reaction for Geo. 

The idea could be a far-fetch because of the trickiness of what could be the reaction for Geo. We already have a freeze right? We can have a reaction to “rooted”. If Geo and Dendro came into play, “rooted” can be a possible reaction which will immobilize the enemies. I could go on with “fossilized” or “amber” but this could be related to the movement speed of the enemies.

This reaction could make much sense, Geo plus Dendro will be Rooted rather than Quicken for Electro. Though like I said, this could be on the later release or not. 

You know why?

We already have Dendro slimes before the Sumeru update, but these reactions are to be seen only in 3.0, except for Burning. Meaning the developers can put initial reactions and develop and add more as soon as it is ready for release.

I think reactions are a critical part of the game where players can easily formulate a Freeze team or a Swirl Team, or Overloaded team. Players can easily relate and arrange their team according to the reaction that they see fit. If you want a Freeze team then put Hydro and Cryo in the team. Do you have a Quicken Team? Burgeon team? You can not relate to that, but if you have a Rooted team you can easily figure out that it is a Geo and Dendro team. Or if they want a realistic kind of reaction, Dendro plus Hydro will bloom but with the bloom status still in play, if the player would put Noelle and cast her shield, then you have rooted.

I am not sure who decided to go on with Electro, but it would be more appropriate that Dendro would react naturally to Geo. I hope this will be the next step for the developers. I hope they will push this because it all makes sense. They would help the players identify the correct people to their team.
