Termination Notice For A Play To Earn, Free To Play Game

As of yet there is no Free To Play, Play To Earn mobile game that I really enjoyed playing other than this one. I really enjoyed Tower Defense games because it is simple and really challenges your thinking. There are other Tower Defense that just sucks but of course I still play it, it just sucks. One of the rare occasions that I enjoyed playing similar games is this one game called Soul Seeker Defense. In some unfortunate turn of events the game/service will be discontinued.

If you play this one you probably know about it by now. It is in a rare instance that I was able to witness a game closure notice. It is just a very weird feeling. I felt cheated when I finally found a game that I really enjoy, then this happened.

It is a merging hero-collecting tower defense. You do not allow the dark forces to cross the other side of your board. Very simple concept and yet very effective. My selling point in this game is the uniqueness of each character. Each character has an ability and you really can not win without a good combination of those abilities.

Rarity

There is this Rarity level of the characters that if you think if you have all Legendary and Heroic on your team it will be a sure win? There are common characters that have high Critical damage or have huge Explosion Damage that can help in crunch time.

Gameplay

Initially you will get a few characters as you go along, then if you have at least 10 characters and at least 5 magic cards you need to check which characters best fit based on your preference. Your team should have at least the flexibility of whatever the boss will be. You will get to choose 5 characters from your pool and 5 Magic cards as well. Then on the battle arena, you will acquire SP to summon your characters, the SP requirement regardless of the Rarity of the character will increase overtime as you summon through the battle. Initially the game will require you 10 SP and then MP to use your Magic Cards. The requirement of each Magic Card to be able to use it is the number on it.

Every 50 kills there is this Ghost round wherein the next monster is the tough and fast ghost. Try to kill the Ghost before it reaches the other side.

In Battle mode, you will go against another player and you will be given 3 lives and as the monsters across the lives will be deducted to you whoever is out of lives loses. 1 life will be lost for every monster including the fast Ghost, and 2 lives for the boss.

Boss Round

In each round you have the common monsters trying to cross on the other side of your board. The common monster round is time bound, try to finish it before the time limit otherwise all monsters still existing will transform to orbs and will be “added” to the boss. It was not explained what exactly will happen to those monsters. Will it be added on the defense or to life? Better finish the round before the time limit expires so it will not be “added to the boss.

The boss round has no time limit, at the end of the round whether you will kill the boss or he will cross the other board.

Rewards

There are Lucky Chest Rewards and the Quest Rewards and the Daily Gift! You can find the Daily gift within the Quest menu and  the Lucky Chest is on the right end opposite of the quest menu.

You have daily quests that you need to finish which will earn you some stars, the stars will be accumulated and after 100 stars you can unlock a chest. The chest will change color once you open it.

The Lucky chest is earned via Party Mode. The Party mode will let you earn clovers then once it reaches 40 you can open a Lucky Chest. The Party mode only has 5 chances everyday.

Soul Token

Is based on Binance Smart Chain, complied according with BEP-20 standard. This is the main Cryptocurrency of the game. You can only earn Soul Token 5 times each day, at least you should use up those chances so you can earn at least the max possible tokens for the day. Meaning at least win 5 times a day and you're good.

I am just sad that a good game has come to an end but as per notice, connect your wallets before Aug 26 to be able to get your remaining SOUL Tokens on your account.

I was experimenting with my lineup to be honest, and I am taking chances on Mary the Secret Agent, who summons another character when merged. This is to anticipate King of Destruction Coupa, which eliminates one character in the field. He is really annoying.

It is just a sad moment for me that I found a good Free To Play and Play To Earn game and yet, the service will be discontinued. I just want to withdraw at least my tokens so that I can invest it in another game. Kudos to the developers, give them a clap on Medium if you play the game.
