The Upcoming MCU Phase 5 - Where Is The Connection In All Of This?

Even Eternals didn’t make it enough on the benchmarks of its other brothers of MCU, it will all make sense when Eternals with the other movies in the MCU will come together somewhere in the timeline. The Mystics Department has now the upper hand, the Cosmics and the Combat departments will follow after. As the close of Phase 4 would end in Wakanda Forever, the gang of Guardians Of The Galaxy, Loki and The Marvels would fill up the gap for Cosmics and we would see the Stars and Stripes with the new Captain America movie then it would end with Thunderbolts. As we all know, the sequence of release dates is not the actual timeline itself. The sequence would all reveal when the phase is finished.

Though we get it all now that all of these events are Post-Infinity War. The underlying twist would all reveal to us in the future once the movie is released. I am looking to wonder here is Blade, where does his story fit in? Will Morbius go into the picture? Or Mephisto?

Most of the movie here in phase 5 is either Cosmic or Combat which can be confusing but this is the magic of MCU, they seem to balance the appearance of the characters. They can do like Eternals, Thor and immediately Guardians of the Galaxy but you will be curious on how their stories fit in all of this. Which I mentioned earlier about Blade.

First I didn't even know that Blade is a Marvel hero, until his announcement in MCU. Blade is aligned with vampires and from the lineup of films for MCU not a single one of them can be aligned with Blade. Maybe Wakanda Forever is the much awaited film on what the MCU would do with T’Challa but with Blade, I am very curious what will be his participation in all of this.

Phase 5 will start with Ant-man and I am not sure yet the whole plot is, but with the leaked video it seems there was a problem with a device. Might be related to the quantum realm (I don't want to spoil it myself), most probably, but this could be a link to either a solution to a future problem or another problem that would lead to the Secret Invasion. 

In the comics Secret Invasion will be more on the Skrull taking over some key positions in the society and probably S.H.I.E.L.D. Which is fine since we Skrulls from the Captain Marvel movie. Which makes sense since we see The Marvels around June 2023, which makes a good flow of the story. After that would be Blade, wherein if this is the origin story of Blade, the connection would be probably in the end so is Blade a product of the blimp? Will Spider-man appear in the picture or maybe Morbius? After Blade there is another question mark which is Iron Heart, Iron heart is another suit based on Tony Stark’s armor and the pilot will be Riri Williams.There are a lot of disconnects from that series of titles but of course will it be connected to the what will happen in The Marvels and Quantumania?

We already see the Netflix series of the Defenders has been acquired already by Disney and we see Matt Murdock and No Way Home, and we had a glimpse of its yellow/golden suit in the She-Hulk trailer, so it is no longer a surprise that Daredevil will be here. Though I never thought it was this early. Captain America is also no surprise to me however New World Order is the title, what kind of villain will the new Captain America will be facing here? 

The keys on connecting these movies would probably be an event or a person that has knowledge of the problem. Could be a character which we can relate that there is already a Thunderbolt movie or a series that would be in the works since we see in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier the mysterious woman that is talking to US Agent which could lead to the Thunderbolts. It seems Thunderbolts would reveal a lot in Phase 5.

It was also revealed on that announcement some details of Phase 6 but that would be in the next post. By the end of Phase 5 it should be much clearer now what would happen on different departments, maybe Yon-Rogg could be right after all?
