A New Twist To The Marvel Family: Kamala Khan

While a lot of things were going on, in the Multiverse, another superhero came with cosmic powers but with a twist. She is Kamala Khan, and she will take the mantle of a “Marvel”. She really looks up to the likes of Captain Marvel however, her powers are not technically from her idol.

Kamala Khan or Ms. Marvel will be one of the series that will be streamed in Disney+. She is a fan but is she strong enough? Is her powers similar to Captain Marvel? Let’s look into the life of Kamala Khan our next Ms. Marvel.

Who is Ms. Marvel?

In the comics she is more aligned with Inhumans. Black Bolt spread Terrigen Mist in the sky for the purpose of empowering some of the members of Inhumans, however no one expected an effect on humans.

In the trailer, it is really hard to speculate if her powers really came from the glowing bracelet that she got. We don’t know yet how it will all fit in the actual series.

Without the powers she is a Pakistani American that balances her life as a young adult in school and her role to her family. There is really a lot to take, trying to fit in each of the worlds you have a role in. Comparing a little bit with Peter Parker, he is accepted in the school since he is the school photographer, Kamala has basically nothing. Peter Parker has no parents which is the missing link to his identity however the gaps were closed a bit with a few years with his Aunt’s.

Kamala is from a different country making her tougher to fit in.

She admires Captain Marvel not thinking that she will eventually become one. There are a few slight differences in her powers in the comics from the upcoming series in Disney+. In the comics she seems a combination of Ant-Man and Mr. Fantastic. All because her cells mutated,  to be able to stretch. So she can be tall and she can extend her limbs. She has this yellow glowing signature when she uses her powers. In the series it seems the glowing signature thingy is upgraded. Instead of one yellow glow, it seems the light she emits is a bit of bluish-pink-ish. If she uses her powers while her limbs are elongated there is this glowing crystalline around the elongated part. She also seems to project what she thinks is similar to the Green Lantern. Ms. Marvel here is really upgraded.

Terrific job to the cast of Ms. Marvel and where did they find the girl. She is perfect as Ms. Marvel. Amazing job however I do not speculate yet if Black Bolt or any Inhumans will be participating in this series. Or even better any mutants that will be introduced here? Amadeus Cho? Nova? Daughter of Vision? That is why it is on a different level how hype I am on this series. Will Captain Marvel show here? There can be a lot of awesome speculations but I trust Marvel Studios on this one. This is potentially amazing.
