The Start A New Adventure: Who Is Arngrim Of Valkyrie Profile

The first few parts of Valkyrie Profile is still more of a tutorial, like any other game. In this second part of Valkyrie Profile, is the continuation of the story of Arngrim and Jelanda. This is no longer a surprise to you that they will both join the Valkyrie to the quest. I am just thinking during that time why these two were accepted, is there any criteria?

Valkyries are maidens serving Odin. In our story here, Valkyrie is tasked to bring soldiers to Valhalla, this is to prepare for Ragnarok. Soldiers mean souls, and where can we find souls? On Midgard, where the mortals live. And you know Midgard right? Midgard is technically Earth. One of the 9 realms in Norse Mythology. You know Norse Mythology where Loki, Thor, and Odin and all that cool stuff.

Back to the game, from a dangerous mission, Arngrim was awarded by the King, Jelanda’s father, a huge amount of gold and statue. Then Arngrim smashed the statue in front of everyone, showing his arrogance. With that Jelanda got a plan to get even with Arngrim. Jelanda disguises a client for Arngrim.

These few scenes in the game are establishing the traits and characteristics of your team members. The first scenes of Jelanda and Arngrim are a bit long and the game will let you save your progress. The story is a bit dragging at the point when they went to the restaurant, though this is Jelanda’s scene. The game shows the bad side of her and this will make a significant turnaround on the last part of their story.

After Jelanda fainted from the restaurant scene, later that day Arngrim with the fainted Jelanda went home. Arngrim discovers that she is not a customer but rather the Princess. Evening came and Jelanda was awake. Realizing that she is in the house of Arngrim, she sprung out of bed and went on her way. At this point Arngrim already realized the true purpose of his meeting with Jelanda that way and he is willing to apologize for the wrongdoing and scandal he caused to the family. On the other side of town, something is brewing and now we are going to the exciting part.

Now the story is beginning to unfold on to who plots all of these circumstances to our characters. The real deception and conspiracy in the kingdom is now at hand. This story continues all throughout the game which is for me it is indeed very engaging.

Now the mysterious agent and Badrach came up to an agreement, Arngrim will be involved in the transaction. Now with the unknown package from the mysterious agent, Arngrim becomes curious with what they are dealing with. Curiosity would sometimes put you in danger.

The next part will be the finale and the start of the long journey of Valkyrie and whoever crew she may have. In the next few episodes of it, the past life of Valkyrie will unfold as she learns the things that mortals do.
