Things To Prepare In The Genshin Impact 3.1 Update

I am on GMT +8 part of the world and tomorrow will be the Anniversary update of Genshin Impact, 3.1 Update will drop exactly at 11AM, what to prepare with the update? This post is a bit special besides that this post was not dropped in the usual timing but this will be my first Anniversary celebration. What I am about to share might be helpful to some of you as well.

I did not experience the first anniversary so I should make it count. First, I deplete my Primogems, this is to test how many Primogems we can make out in all of the events this update has.

As per the last livestream, there are at least four events in the upcoming update, and I am expecting that it will have loads of Primogems. Also from the same livestream of 3.1 Update, there will be an event that you will get a new 4-star polearm. This anniversary will really boost my roster once I get a good Hydro character.

On 3.0 I pull a few on a weapon banner however, I got characters instead of a good weapon, though it was not wasted that I was able to pull 4-star polearms, well it was a Favonius Lance that I equip to Shogun however the plan is to upgrade Raiden with the new polearm from the event. Here’s the plan so far.

Part of the 3.1 update is Candace, a 4-star Hydro polearm character, she is the newest character that will be coming from Sumeru, once I get her, we will continue to pull from the Weapon Banner. Barabara will not be sad because I will still use her and fit her into my other teams. Where will we pull Candace on Cyno’s banner? No, we will try to pull Candace on Venti’s banner. I have the Shogunate on our side so there is really no use pulling it on Cyno’s. I had some single pull done on some character banners. This is to really scramble all of the ritual and let luck be on our side. Now the plan is set, what is there to prepare?

Resins

Prepare your resins and know how many resins can accumulate once the update is in place. The reset on my place is 11AM and I have a half of the resins accumulated already overtime. What are the Resins for? There are domains that will be unlocked in the desert of Sumeru so it is better to prepare the resins and convert it to Condensed Resin. If you are new in the game, the condensed resin is used in artifact farming to have better turnout of the artifacts.

Mora

Clear Bounties, Help out in the requests, and clear your commissions or any Mora generating event clear it. You need Mora more than you ever know. I was focusing on my main team first before anything else so that the Mora that will be used for enhancing and ascending is focused on the main team that would clear just any boss that is out there.

Hero’s Wit

This is the Violet books or paper that you use to upgrade the heroes, save it because you will badly need it. If you did not participate in the Leyline event I hope it is just enough to upgrade anyone if you get a good character because Hero’s Wit was never enough for me.

In addition, there is one more thing that you need to prepare which is the most important: Time! With these anniversary events that will be overlapping, you need time to clear these events. You don’t need to prepare anything from your rosters, you need to prepare yourself because this will be one hell of an update. Strategizing when the resin will be enough to do the events juggling with your weeklies and dailies and boss fights. In a few hours from now we will have the update!
