MCU Through Infinity And Beyond: 10 Character Predictions For The Next 10 Years
Before we end our All Marvel event this month there is exciting news from the man himself, Kevin Feige. According to Collider, Feige announces that the team will be working on the next 10 years of the MCU on a Marvel retreat after Cinemacon. It will be another exciting 10 years that we all fans will be looking forward to.
With that I have Top 10 Marvel characters that can be included in that meeting. We can look back to this post after 10 years or so. The list will not include some characters that were initially introduced already like Daredevil (Spider-man: No Way Home) and Black Knight (Eternals). The list consists of new Marvel characters that can be included on that 10 year run.
Starjammers - with some rumor going around that this will be the last of Rocket Raccoon, Guardians of the Galaxy will never be the same. We need a new group to be introduced. Starjammers are space pirates that appeared in the X-Men series in Marvel comics. With the X-men creeping into the MCU, Starjammers will be potentially included in the MCU.
Magneto - He is around the movies already but in the MCU he is not. If Xavier will be in the Multiverse of Madness, then he should be in the MCU.
Onslaught - He should be the next badass if they will continue with Professor X and eventually with Magneto, Onslaught is just around the corner. Xavier and Magnus’ mixed together add a little unhappy childhood-ness that’s Onslaught.
Galactus - Fantastic Four is just around the corner, Galactus is one of the many Godly creatures. We saw some cosmic pregnancy at the expense of a planet, MCU can put Galactus in the picture. They just can.
Mephisto - There can be a lot of Easter Eggs in WandaVision or in No Way Home but none of that is confirmed. There is an obvious link between Mephisto and Wanda in the comics, and the MCU should finally catch up.
Shi’ar Empire - There can be a lot of angles where MCU can put in Shi’ar Empire. They can be linked to Guardians of The Galaxy or with Charles Xavier and Phoenix. They can start with Nova or start it with Phoenix and then put in Nova.
Annihilus - Annihilus is from the Negative Zone, the way to the Negative zone was created by Reed Richards. Reed Richards is the leader of Fantastic Four, what link do you still need here?
Grey Hulk / Joe Fixit - He is the original. The mammoth strength of the Green Hulk only became more evident, as he always savage his way out of Banner’s Persona.
Dark Avengers - Mainly because there is this gravity over Osborne that I can not explain. He became a protagonist of Stark in the comics, but I guess we will no longer have that, but there is a “Thunderbolt” that is brewing, so it is a possibility.
Red She Hulk - This is Thaddeus Ross’ daughter in the comics. Remember Iron Man 3 where Pepper has this experiment by Killian. Connect the dots.
This is more of a smart guess, but we want the MCU to be a happy place right? Might as well make it our happy place. There are some a little bit extreme or a little bit far-fetched, but the idea is the hype and the mystery it could add to the whole MCU storyline. The emergence of The Eternals caught us off guard, though the execution could be worse, it can happen again to other characters that are not that popular. Admit it even if the reviews are bad, 50% tell you to watch it because you're curious. I think the psyche that people still would love to see it because of the links and Easter eggs, the “Aha Moment”, or it will all make sense when the MCU finally links to the other movies.
