Only 1% Of Players Know That These Games Exists

With a lot of emerging first-person Battle Royale shooting games, we will just choose what is the trend. Military, Mystical, Cyberpunk, or whatever the theme of the shooting game, they all aim at the same target, numbers. Popularity is always a numbers game, and whoever shows up in the statistics whether it is on a streaming platform or on Twitter, becoming a trend is good for Game Developers. Though the trend is not always good, it doesn’t mean a game is trending it means it is good.

What is a Shooting Game?

Shooting game is no longer limited to guns and lasers. It evolves to some of the new games like the character is a mage so she shoots fireballs. It evolved to anything that shoots a target whether it came from a weapon or gadget but it can come from hands by magic spells. 

MOBA / Battle Royale / Deathmatch

MOBA is a 2 team strategy game wherein you play against the other team with a common objective. 

Battle Royale

This can be team-based or Solo. It can be multiple teams with 2 - 5 members battling with other teams or solo players. You will be pit on a specific map and to be able to win last man or team standing wins. 

Deathmatch

If we will define deathmatch it could sound similar to MOBA. Your team will be competing against other teams with a common goal, to kill everyone on the other team. Sounds like MOBA right? The only thing that separates this is that it is based on the point system. Most of the time MOBA has only one target the base of the other team.

Popularity is of the essence and if you are adventurous in terms of games like me,  you can check out other games that you can see fit.

Paladins - This one is really unique among others on the list. Though you will choose a character with different powers, Paladins offers unorthodox tactical gameplay. With the unique power, you can be a tank or precision marksman. There are also a lot of content and game modes to choose from so it is highly recommended to practice and practice more characters in the game.

Rogue Company - Increasing in popularity this is not your usual team-based multiplayer shooting game. This is not anything close to the famous movie but instead of champions or soldiers, the characters are called Rogues. It is a 4 v 4 shooting game, the feel might be similar to other competitors of the same genre but the battle play among others gives the game a fresh new experience.

SMITE - MOBA or Shooting game, the gameplay is like no other. The mechanics might be the same as your normal MOBA game but you are in the middle of a freaking map! The mechanics and SMITE are indeed considered MOBA, but why it is on this list? Because of the gameplay, you play in a team and you shoot the enemy.

CRSED: FOAD - It was first named Cuisine Royale, for whatever reason, it was relaunched in the new name last December 2020. This is one unique Battle Royale game, because of its realistic items and gameplay. Developed by Darkflow Studio, you are dealing with Gods and hex in the game. The setting is like an old wild-wild west style which probably targets a much older audience. Younger players love Cyber-funky and tech-y setting but this one you are in the middle of the First World War!

It is really amazing how tech companies grew a lot through the years and they are giving a lot to the community by creating games for free. Though there is a little bit of fee on some they call Batte Pass for a certain season but it is cheaper to create a Battle Pass with Perks and skins than to create an out-of-this-world patch or version release that would only introduce bugs.

More and more games like these will be expected to come and the community will just continue to grow and grow steadily as more and more players are expected to be in the ESports industry.
