The Start And Stop Of Some Of Our P2E Platforms

This is the first news post that will involve 3 P2E Games and Platforms. I am just as excited as you are in some ups and downs in the P2E scene. In the blog we have focused more on the Anime and MCU as they are banging our doors. They are screaming and they are louder than ever. Marvel announced the other phases of the MEU or the whole Marvel Entertainment Universe since it is not just a cinematic universe but rather both series and cinematic installments of everything Marvel. As for Anime and games there are a lot of starts and stops on some P2E games, and starts that empowers the players more.

From the recent turn of events, Soul Seeker Defense ended its service last September 7. Since I was not compensated despite my efforts, I will no longer touch any games from those guys ever again. Instead that I would play another game from them, I changed my mind that they are not that true to their word. They can have my tokens for whatever it's worth.

Another end is that Pocket Arena has stopped compensating their players for playing their other games. Pocket Arena has a lot of games on their website and their flagship Tower Defense was the one that is currently paid to earn, however you need to invest for a castle. There are other casual games on the site that allow you to earn tokens, however it suddenly stops for some “technical” reason. Not sure if that is a good idea at a very early stage, though I have a better suggestion.

Instead of cutting off the compensation to the players, Pocket Arena should introduce a new game that would boost popularity and awareness of the game. I don’t think they are in the “Meta” of the Pay To Earn platforms, and there are more and more platforms and game companies that choose to remain Free To Play, Play To Earn. Mainly it is more to encourage more players to the game and introduce them to the platform. The play to earn concept itself is empowering the players. That was always the marketing tag-line of all Play To Earn platforms, that players spent a lot in games that you don’t own your character or “the game developers are the only one that is earning” kind of marketing pitch, this should be the side of Pocket Arena as well, cutting off this early won’t really give them much of an edge compared to others. They just don’t entice new players to play the game.

Soul Seeker Defense is not that true to their word that they will give out the tokens, they just keep to themselves. I did not get mine. I don’t want to be negative about it but I don’t think I will still play their game after that huge suck up. The feeling just sucks.

Though the good news is that Gods Unchained has a new Play To Earn system, which is really good news for us players. Though I have not touched the game for months now, I guess I will try to make time this time. Gods Unchained has been a while already, and when I played this game around March, they did not have ways yet to earn besides the promise of forging a unique card which was not yet enabled at that time, now they found ways to empower their players. They have this Play To Earn system that enables the players to earn daily! You can check out all of the mechanics here in their blog.

That is what I am saying, the very difference between those platforms. However I will monitor the developments from Pocket Arena. They think they can earn more through their guilds, lands and tower defense, think this through Pocket Arena. Claim to be a game developer not a capitalist of NFT that won’t work. Kudos to the team of Gods Unchained, I guess Genshin Impact 3.1 will be on the sideline this time around.
