Genshin Impact Spin Off? Or Lite Version?, Peter Pan Is Not Here
If you are an RPG fan, and you are looking for similar apps as Genshin Impact, you probably have tried this one. Now that I am able to compare the 2 games side by side. It was not an easy task to compare because there is always a game that is inferior to the other. A lot of content creators have compared this game to Genshin Impact, not sure if you totally agree with the comparison but if you are curious read on.
At the time of the video I was thinking the same as the other content creators of this game that it is Genshin Impact Lite. That time, I still have no reference yet on Genshin Impact so I went with the popular opinion however it seems to go in the other direction when I play Genshin Impact myself.
Legend of Neverland is an “open-world” RPG game, I think we need to have a better definition of what an open-world rpg game is. As I have already defined when I review Marvel Future Revolution, Legend of Neverland has similar mechanics as Marvel Future Revolution. It is not that Open-Worldly.
Genshin Impact has its “not-so-open-world-parts” as well. The versioning of Genshin Impact is based on the areas. There are parts that are really not open yet, however the trees, streams and mountains are pretty much open-world. Meaning you can approach a tree and climb it, you can even go to a stream and can be caught by the current. If you are playing Genshin Impact you all know that the fastest way to go into an area is not go around it but over it. You can climb mountains as long as your stamina permits you to.
First, Legend of Neverland should not be compared to Genshin Impact. Legend of Neverland has its own merit to be played not compared to a goliath like Genshin Impact. We can call it a lite Open World RPG.
I have a few interactions on this game and it took a few weeks on my phone. The story is not engaging as it involves a lot of unknown people. I guess missing people are not my cup of tea. At least from my understanding of a few chapters of the story, there was a missing person or mother. Though my relationship with that person is not significant in the story so I am not engaged in the story.
The good thing about this game is the skill animation. I like the Craftsman class the most. It is pretty intense despite the steampunkiness of its overall look. Though it will not be your look, your look is set initially at the beginning. More or less if you have that class you will have that default look. I was not able to reach that part wherein I was able to dress up similar to what was being demonstrated during class selection.
I normally feature the initial gameplay of games I am playing in our Youtube Channel. Make sure to subscribe so we can feature more games in the channel. Including The Legend Of Neverland, it did not last on my second month playing it, I guess the storyline does not make me curious enough to go further. The skill animation is great but that’s about it. The challenge in the world itself of Cabal is not that challenging, it is normal that it is easy at first but the tasks it seems pretty static. I still believe that the game should have its own merit but games that would really appeal to the audience right now should surpass the excitement with all of the RPGs around there. RPGs have no end, I guess the only end of it is if the developers discontinue the game but to maintain the player base and let your player base stay on the game is a much tougher task to make. Having a player base that really supports the game not in terms of in game purchase but really playing the game would really make a game great!
