The Vision Will Come Back In The MCU - We Just Don't Know Yet When

"No, the honest answer to that is — well maybe it's not the honest answer, but it's the answer I'm going to give you and you'll just have to cope with it — at the end of WandaVision, you see Vision fly off and that's a loose end. And Kevin Feige is a man who doesn't really allow loose ends. So I assume at some point I will be putting on my tights and cloak for another outing, but I don't know when that might be."

That is a quote from Paul Bettany the star that embodied the AI Jarvis and eventually became The Vision in the MCU. The star teases everyone with this answer when asked if he will be potentially going back to the MCU to do the role of Vision again.

  

Though it is not cryptic, and still not confirmed, there is a truth behind it. What I am agreeing with Bettany is that Kevin Feige does not allow loose ends. The truth of that statement is Loki. Thanos puts an end to the God of Mischief in Infinity War. Though Thor swears to the body of the dead Loki that this is not the end, it becomes true when in Endgame Loki manages to escape through the Tesseract. Then indeed came out alive in the Loki series on Disney plus.

The answer of Bettany is kind of on a safe side but with basis. Vision is a critical part of the Avengers. He is a learning robot capable of processing the dangers and can phase through matter. Though it seems the last scene where Vision flew away seems like there is no continuation, I have a feeling that he will be reunited with Wanda in any way. Will he find his way to S.W.O.R.D.? He has nowhere to go but up! Up in the galaxy where he can find itself thinking in the galaxy bumping in with Fury together with Skrulls or with S.W.O.R.D. That will be just me thinking in a different way. Since The Vision from that last scene in Wanda Vision seems confused.

  

The story can be a bit tricky to reunite Wanda. We still do not know what will happen in Doctor Strange 2, if she will be consumed by the power? Or she will be a stronger woman than she should be?

    

The children of Wanda on the other hand, seem reunited with their mother in The Multiverse of Madness, the father is nowhere to be found. Or The Vision will find its way in the end of the movie, who knows.

  

We would like to call the connection between Vision and Wanda “inevitable”, but we still have no confirmation on Marvel’s plans with Vision. With the lineup of movies and shows up until next year, Vision has not yet been brought back to the table. Though I will truly anticipate the come back and what will be his role in the reunion.

Though there is still another loose end that could possibly make its way in the creation of Thunderbolts. It will be interesting to discuss it in the next post.
