Harrison Ford Will Be The Red Hulk? - I Have Better Suggestion Though

MCU has still a lot of people who need to fill in, well at least for some not so major roles but necessary for the plot. Undeniably Disney will look for someone that is already in their backyard.

And Harrison Ford is undeniably a very good actor and very professional with his craft. He plays Han Solo in Star Wars so he is not that new in the superhero or fictional genre.

I have no objection if Harrison Ford will be in the MCU. He is already within Disney’s backyard, and he is undoubtedly a good actor. Award winning too.

But which role will he fill in? The more popular opinion will be the role that William Hurt left, as General Ross but I have a different scenario. Thunderbolts is already announced right? And that will be the safest choice however what if he will be for a different role? Because if Denzel Washinton is one of the choices for Magneto why not Harrison Ford right?

The path that MCU is heading right now is on mutants. They are capitalizing with the old characters but slowly there are soft hints that they are going towards that direction, the mutants. Well what else they will be heading, they will start it with Deadpool and Wolverine! Or maybe there are other movies or series where they introduce a different mutant. In The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, they are tracking the supposedly mutants there right? They evolved after the blimp.

What I am saying is, what if Harrison Ford will be a Magneto from a different Earth. Thunderbolt Ross is the popular pick but this is Harrison Ford. He is in the same caliber of Samuel L. Jackson for crying out loud. Marvel Studio is really unpredictable but the tides can shift and cast him as Magneto. With all due respect with William Hurt he is perfect for the part and knowing Marvel Studios they cared for the screen relevance. You can’t confuse the fans at this point.

Marvel Studios can put an alibi to the role William Hurt left and that is what makes the Thunderbolt. There are still a lot of empty seats in the main roles. I think a very good actor for a major mutant role would at least balance the necessity of the fans for that one good actor taking up a major role. The balance should still be there.

I would really bet on Magneto. It's not that I don’t want the fans screaming for Denzel as Magneto, it was not a comic-like scenario for me. At least Nick Fury was black in the comics but Magneto? Trying to experiment further would probably not be the case for Harrison Ford. We should maintain the screen relevance.

Though this is my 2 cents on what Harrison Ford will be if he will be in the MCU. I am just trying to be on the creative side of things here. Magneto is very integral in the formation of the mutant ideals and I think Harrison Ford would be a very good fit on that wisdom-making mutant. They can always use Fasbender as Magneto but having the wise figure in the MCU it will be more on the gray-haired Magneto. The only challenge here is who will oppose him, Professor X was never the offensive one, he is more of an Odin, there should be a Cyclops somewhere in the MCU timeline. That’s the role that needs to be well thought of. I really don’t agree on the previous Cyclops before that’s about it!

For whatever the future may hold in the MCU it always ends up a very good decision. That we only understand its purpose when the idea and storyline is puzzled together.
