Amazing Event Plot - If You Miss It - Here It Is
Events in Genshin Impact really don’t have much connection as the plot seems disconnected to the actual flow of the story. Event plots really entices the players to move further to unlock a stage instead of just giving the access day by day. This is a good strategy to gain more engagement to the players. In this event, Roses and Muskets, they really did a good job.
Flashback to why I played Genshin Impact, is the story. Saving a dragon and a character considered a “powerful being” just got kicked in the stomach. Conspiracy aside, the stories up to Liyue are really interesting, when the politics of Inazuma came, it became stale. The electro cauldron in Tatarasuna is really a “rhythm” breaker. It is just there are a lot of going around that area and yet it is disconnected to where the story should align. At the very least the Chasm has a significant place in the story. This hit and miss in the plot really gives some issues on the game itself.
Fast forward to Fontaine, the actual archon quest is for me the worst plot in terms of engagement, I just pushed it through and it only became heartwarming towards the end. When the truth was revealed about the life of the real Furina, it became interesting. Now going back to the Event plot, it was like Mondstadt days again!
The Event is not that engaging but the event plot is the real cherry on the cake. Besides the event when the claymore-wielding tinker Freminet was introduced, Chevreuse really did a good job!
Freminet’s journey with Pers is really a sensitive one, and the message is clear about depression and anxiety. This event with Chevreuse is like a plot in a movie. There’s conspiracy, betrayal, and espionage, which brings us back to Mondstadt, the secrecy, betrayal and how-can-we-actually-fix-the-current-situation kind of thing. It is important that there is a closure in the end. The essence of everything that has happened comes to a very sweet conclusion. On that very event, the game presented Chevreuse as a cunning and critical thinker who cracked the case. In this part of the video, it is like you are watching a Korean made plot. Even though it is a given fact that Hoyoverse is situated in Asia, why on an event plot you put an effort to put this kind of story, why not put it on every chapter of the Archon Quest?
Hats off to whoever made this plot for an event, I think Hoyoverse needs to put him in the Archon quest. The plot is meticulously weaved to perfection. On how the plot turns out to be, the crazy hints and clues were just revealed at the right moment. Execution on how it was presented by Chevreuse, and how it came out to be is monumental. I think you can already understand everything in this very scene.
In the end, I hope these kinds of plots will be more common in the next patches. Investing in a good story will not let you down. If you really want to play your games, make a very good story. On what the world came out to be right now, nothing beats a very good story that inspires and makes people think, thinking about the others with compassion and respect.
